I don't usually write a letter like this, but I want you to know what an exceptional representative of your company Steve is.
First off, he was on time both days--most servicemen are not.
Secondly, he was polite and explained everything he had analyzed regarding our furnace. He was thorough even checking out the outside heat pump for potential problems. (Another well known Salem Heating company who we had worked with for four years, never once, to my knowledge, checked the heat pump).
Steve checked the thermostat and showed me why it needed replacing. A year ago I asked the serviceman about the thermostat and his reply was "Oh, those never wear out."
Steve was also detailed in his paper work; he took the time to get it right the first time. He presented the maintenance program as a benefit to us--not just another tack-on sales product. I appreciate his forth rightness--bottom line is that I trust him to do the best job for me.
Please pass onto him my sincerest thanks for a job well done.
